More Than a Restaurant. A Journey from Thailand to Fredericksburg.
My name is Seri, though many people know me as Patrick. I was born and raised in Thailand, where food was never simply something to eat—it was how families gathered, friendships grew, and communities celebrated life. My career eventually led me far beyond my hometown. I served humanitarian programs supporting refugee operations throughout Southeast Asia, worked as an engineer with international organizations, and later built a successful career in technology after making America my home. Throughout those years, one thing never changed—my love for authentic Thai food and my desire to share my culture with others. Giving back to both the Thai and local communities has always been an important part of my life. During my years serving on the Board of the Northern Virginia Thai Center, I helped establish the NVA Thai Street Food & Culture Festival. Watching the festival grow into a celebration enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year has been one of my proudest accomplishments. Although I have stepped aside from the Board to make room for the next generation of leaders, I continue to support the organization and remain committed to promoting Thai culture and helping our community thrive. Today, SERI THAI combines every chapter of that journey into one restaurant. When you dine with us, you're not just enjoying Thai food. You're becoming part of our story
